It seems like only yesterday the class started....and yet we have just one class left. Like I said in the classroom, you have been a GREAT group. If only all groups were like this (sigh). About Me

- Born and raised in the States, I came to live to Puerto Rico at the age of 17. At first I didn't really like it, but living here has taught me a lot about my roots. I now love the island and don't see myself going back to the US except for vacation. I currently teach English as a second language to college students. It's a challenge but many times my students make my day. :)

1. Since English is my strongest language it was refreshing to have a class that I felt totally comfortable with.
2. I would probably have to say that I didn't like that we had to do two presentions. The reason I say this is that after being in this program for so long (my colleagues will probably agree with me) it gets to be a drag to have to prepare several presentations for almost every class. Although I did like the demonstration because it was something different.
3. I liked using the blogs because it gave me the chance to get to know my classmates.
4. I really wouldn't change much, it's been a really fun class.
5. Before starting this class I actually thought it would be boring since I knew good English, but I was surprised how fun it has been and definitely not boring at all.
I think that a profesor who manages to keep the attention of adult students, who have worked hard all week, and on top of that on a Friday night, is without a doubt a great profesor!!

1.What did you enjoy most about the course?
I enjoy that this is the first English class that I took, focused on conversational. I think that all English courses should be like that, because this is our second language and is an important part for our professional careers.
2.What didn't you like about the class?
I didn’t like the class schedule hour, it’s very difficult to stay four hours in one class, especially on Fridays; but since we are such a great group, my classmates made the class more comfortable.
3.What do you think about using blogs in the class?
I think that blogging is an excellent method of communication between professor and classmates.
4.What would you have liked to do in class that was not done?
I would like to learn more about English vocabulary to develop my knowledge.
5.What other comments do you have about the class or me as your professor?
The class was excellent and I learned how to express more clearly in English, especially in front of other persons.

The way it was developed. Straight to the point and enjoyable.

The group, all grown and professionals, teamwork was a must.

A great experience, the technology is there, depend on us to use it or loose it. First time for me doing this and I really enjoy and learn from it.
4. What would you have liked to do in class that was not done?
It's my opinion that the class was different, I would not change anything.

I encourage you to continue to make students life different, the way you conduct the class refect great credit upon yourself and your personality. It really was a great semester ending.
1) I enjoy the presentations of my fellow students and the way the professor gave the class.
2) I think what I didn’t like that it was only five weeks long. We need more time to develop verbal communication.
3) The blogs were lots of fun and it was a new experience for me.
4) It would have been fun to have food party or a last day class party.

I have enjoyed all the presentations, but the movie was a great idea for the course.

Blogs are new for me. It was fun. Another great idea to communicate.
We did not go out to a restaurnt as planned. I believe that five weeks was too fast.
The course was very interesting and the profesor was very profesional. I would take another course with her.
1. The experience of talk in front of the people without fear and learning about others.

2.That I am made very difficult to speak in I publish in English and it stops my it is very difficult he/she speaks another language. Maybe I don't like the idea of giving formless every week, but it is something personal that should overcome.
3.It is something different and very good for the communication, but in my personal case i hardly gives me the time to enter for that assigned work of my work.
4.I have liked to know but English to be able to shine better in front of the other ones.
5. I believe that it is an exelent very attentive, patient teacher and worried by their students.

2. What didn't you like about the class? My nerves to lodge although I had prepared.
3. What do you think about using blogs in the class? Perfect charm me, besides that I had to strive to write in English.
4. What would you have liked to do in class that was not done? Maybe present a presentation to the front of the class, although I like to talk in front of people, but not in English.
5. What other comments do you have about the class or me as your professor? Very good teacher, I wish that everyone would have been as ike you.I’m learn in these 5 Friday, I imagine that if it had been a full semester would have been much more.

English and my understanding of the language has given me the opportunity to facilitate many travels around the world. I also enjoy writing poetry in English and Spanish, the feeling is totally different and culturally you could say different thing in different ways. I’ve work as a poet and a actor in many differet cities and like many Nuyoricans, I’ve been able to show a different side of our Boricua experience in the US, long live my Padrino Piri Thomas, who was a great inspiration to as all as a poet and a performer.
